The Library of the IST-Taguspark opened to the public in September 2003. Its main priority is to support the students of the four bachelor’s and master’s degrees taught on campus. This support focuses mainly on two aspects: (I) to provide access to the degree’s bibliography and other references, and (II) to provide space and conditions to study either alone or in groups.
Location
Located on the ground-floor of the IST-Taguspark building, occupies and área of 828.72 m2, and has three rooms reserved for individual study and two offices for group work.
Rules:
- Silence is requested in individual study rooms (largest room and aquarium).
- Furniture should not be moved.
- Eating and drinking (exception, water bottle) is not allowed.
- Access to group study rooms upon reservation at book rooms/desk service.
Library opening hours:
- Books Room/Service Desk: working days, 10:00-13:00 ; 14:30-18:00
- Individual Study Rooms (largest room and aquarium): 00:00-24:00 (including weekends and holidays)
- Group Study Rooms: working days, 10:00-20:00 – Upon reservation
The library is closed during August.
